Lease Financing: Check Discounting
A loan extended to a client for the purpose of financing short-term receivables evidenced by post-dated checks (PDCs) resulting from a legitimate trade transaction. This loan is liquidated through the collection of the PDCs.

Trade checks to be discounted shall at all times be with recourse to the borrower
All PDCs to be discounted must be endorsed by the borrower/authorized signatory at the back of each check
Maturity date of each PDC to be discounted must not be longer than 180 days
