  • W-2 (BIR Form 2316)
  • Latest Pay Slip (within last 3 months)
  • Certificate of Employment stating income (Original Copy)
  • Last month's credit card/s statements with other banks (You must have had the credit card/s for at least 12 months and credit card/s must be of current standing)
  • Car Registration with Official Receipt of car models not older than 36 months (Not valid for residents of Davao City and Cagayan De Oro City)

    For self-employed applicants:
  • Latest Audited Financial Statement (AFS) with BIR or bank stamp
  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) with BIR or bank stamp (2 pages)

    Optional requirements (for quicker processing)
  • Last month's credit card statement/s (must have had the credit card/s for at least 12 months and credit card/s must be of current standing), or
  • Car registration with official receipt of car models not older than 36 months (not valid for residents of Davao City and Cagayan De Oro City)

    ID requirement:
  • 2 valid IDs, one of which must be a photo-bearing primary ID, photocopied on both sides

    If the applicant is a foreign national, in addition to the documents above, a photocopy of any of the following must be submitted:
  • Visa and Working Permit (with validity of 1 year and not expired at the time of application)
    - Immigration Certificate of Residence (ICR)

    Effectivity Date of New Policy on Insufficiently- Funded Check Moved to January 24, 2011

    The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' new policy on insufficiently-funded checks will take effect January 24, 2011 instead of January 1, 2011 as earlier announced.

    The BSP moved the date to give the banks and the banking public more time to prepare for the implementation of this new policy.

    What is BSP Circular 681?
    BSP Circular 681 mandates all banks to return checks that are DRAWN AGAINST UNCLEARED DEPOSITS (DAUD) and DRAWN AGAINST INSUFFICIENT FUNDS (DAIF), no later than 7:30 a.m. of the next clearing day. This new policy will take effect on January 24, 2011.
