NEW PROCEDURE FOR RETRIEVING YOUR CAPTURED ATM CARDS

Effective immediately, the following will be the new procedure for getting back your ATM card if this is captured in a UCPB ATM:

1. If the ATM you used is in the branch premises, get your captured ATM card from the branch operations officer of that branch.

2. If you used an offsite ATM in Metro Manila, get your captured ATM card at the UCPB ATM Center, 13th floor, UCPB Corporate Offices, Makati Avenue, Makati City. For UCPB accountholders, please claim your captured cards from your maintaining branch.

3. If the offsite ATM you used is in the provincial area, get your captured ATM card from the branch operations officer of the nearest UCPB branch. You can find out the location of the nearest UCPB branch by calling the UCPB Customer Relations Center. For toll-free access, press 1800, then 18888272.

4. To claim your captured ATM card, present a valid identification card such as a government-issued ID card, e.g. Driver’s License, SSS ID, PRC ID, etc.

5. You must retrieve your ATM card within three days of its capture; otherwise the bank, for your own protection, will perforate the magnetic strip to prevent the card’s unauthorized use.

6. The above procedures apply to all locally issued ATM cards except Union Bank ATM cards and Landbank GSISeCards with photos. When captured, these cards and those issued by international institutions can be claimed at the maintaining branch of Union Bank, Land Bank or the international institution’s branch.

7. For Union Bank ATM cards and Land Bank GSIS eCards without photos and maintained in Metro Manila branches, these can be claimed from the UCPB ATM Center if captured within Metro Manila; and for those maintained in the provincial branches these shall be forwarded to the cardholders’ maintaining branch.
