UCPB recognized recently the branches with the best performing ATMs in 2008 in terms of total transactions and number of acquirer transactions. Acquirer transactions are those performed on the bank’s ATMs by non-UCPB cardholders.
Ayala Avenue Branch, under AVP2 Josefina Caraos, recorded the highest number of transactions among onsite ATMs last year with a monthly average of 11,835. Guadalupe Branch came in second followed by SM-Cebu Branch, Olongapo Branch and Marikina Branch.
For offsite ATMs, SM-Davao of Magsaysay Avenue Branch, under AVP1 Gang Gonzales, emerged number one with 8,974 transactions a month. The four others in the honor roll were Robinsons Bacolod of Lacson-Galo Branch, Island City Mall of Tagbilaran Branch, SM-Iloilo of Iznart Branch and N.E. Pacific Mall of Cabanatuan Branch.
Batasan Branch, under M1 Marlette Resurreccion, topped the others in acquirer transactions, posting an average of 4,960 a month. It was followed by Sta. Rosa Branch, Limay Branch, SM Cebu Branch and Lemery Branch.
Available 24/7, ATMs are among the most widely used delivery channels. Last year, the bank’s 220 ATMs handled 12.2 million transactions. UCPB is getting 191 new units to give clients an even better ATM banking experience.
