A computer aided/electronic banking facility that
allows enrolled accounts to make banking transactions through
the use of a touch-tone telephone or cellular phone. The facility
is operated by an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), a
computer-type machine that uses pre-recorded messages to translate
communication signals sent to the host computer for information
requested by the client.
To gain access to the facility, clients/subscribers are required
to enter a 4-8 digit Account Access Code (AAC) that serves as
their confidential Personal Identification Number (PIN). A Reference
Number specified by the UCPB Telebanking-IVRS will be given to
the user as a confirmation of a successful fund transfer or debit
bills transaction.
